Fun Stuff!

Hopiary

Lego flower attack.

The parking lot at my former workplace.

Hair, hair.

My car post-work one day. One lens couldn't even capture it all...

A good reminder in the form of a post-it on a fridge.

Gone fishin'.

This gem, discovered after a lengthy discussion with the BF on TP useage.

Crouching tiger, sleeping alligator.

Water lily. Just 'cuz.

Hiking...

On a mystery mountain.

Grace Cole Nature Preserve

We took a little walk through this area and it was really picturesque. I took a liking to this little family. And not just because we share a name...

Trying out the "Vignette" effect.

Unusual water plant texture + speeding ducky.

Seems legit.

The "Boost" effect.

Golden Tree

Caught this tree in the Woodland Park Zoo one evening.

Scott's Bar and Grill

So this was a fun evening out! Check out these killer fish tacos.

The atmosphere here is part swanky, part rustic. High-beamed ceilings, lots of light, art on the walls. Attentive waitstaff, always a plus!

I like it.

As you can tell.

Mojito and me.
I had these delicious scallops with asparagus and almonds surrounding a pile of garlicky 'taters. Ohsodelish!

The Fini Martini.
T'was a dinner appreciated down to the last (lemon) drop!

India Bistro

My friend S and I went out for Indian food at my fave Ballard spot. This is her adorable self:

So cute, right?? ;)
I'm kinda embarrassed to say that I didn't think I liked Indian food for a long time. Like, I had never even eaten in an Indian restaurant until a couple years ago.

Complimentary Tamarind and Mint chutneys with Papadam crackers.
I think it was because I had some unfortunate experiences at potlucks as a child. Things were too spicy. They were too yellow. And exotic.

But later I figured out they are seriously...DELICIOUS! Like the Mango Chutney and Daal Maharani (I think it was Daal Maharani!) pictured above. And... the giant slab of steamy garlic naan, below. Mm hmm.

Naan is ready for her close-up!
But don't you worry...

I'm making up for my lost eating time now!
